Study by NTUC First Campus (NFC) and National Institute of Education (NIE) involving 760 My First Skool preschoolers at Playgroup, Nursery 2 and Kindergarten 2 at 17 centres. 

 

1. Well-designed learning environment is associated with both a child's learning experience and teacher-child interactions.

 

2. Attending preschool regularly as young as 18 months is positively associated with academic performance, and may improve children's learning outcomes by K2.

Through interaction with seniors, children understand the aging process, learn from elders' experiences, and develop a sense of responsibility to care for elders in the family and the community.
